Leveraging on their open-concept animal habitats and lush greenery, the attractions now offer more unique packages that combine dining and wildlife appreciation. Available packages, which include Breakfast-in-the-Wild, Jungle Luncheon, Tropical Tea and Dinner Safari, offer special animal appearances and performances from fire-eaters, tribal dancers and musicians.

For their efforts in catering to the business travel and MICE market, Singapore Zoo and Night Safari have won awards by industry groups such as PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) and IMA (Incentives & Meetings Asia).

Incentive highlights
At the Singapore Zoo, visitors can savour a hearty yet thrilling Breakfast-In-the-Wild. Catered to specific requirements, this unique breakfast experience enables visitors to indulge in local delights as well as get up close with the zoo’s gorgeous animals, including the elephants, orang utans and pythons.

Another option is the Gourmet Safari Express, with a capacity of between 15 and 72 people. This award-winning dining experience allows visitors to dine on board a specially decorated tram that goes around the lush secondary forest in the Night Safari. Ideal for special dinner parties with family, friends and business associates, Gourmet Safari Express promises visitors a leisurely yet sumptuous meal while enjoying the exotic sights and sounds of nature.

Wild venues
The Singapore Zoo provides a wide selection of incentive and corporate venues. At the Treetops Trail, Elephants of Asia exhibit, Hamadryas Baboon – the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia or at the Tiger Trek, guests can choose to sip cocktails near the playful primates, the majestic elephants or at the endangered Bengal white tigers.

For outdoor settings, events can be held at Pavilion-By-The-Lake and the Reservoir Picnic Site, located along the tranquil Seletar Reservoir, and Garden Pavilion, next to the 42 primate species at Primate Kingdom. For air-conditioned comfort, guests can opt for Forest Fare or Forest Lodge. Forest Lodge boasts modern tropical architecture with floor-to-ceiling glass and timber panels, and a koi pond that is half the size of an Olympic swimming pool.

Two of the latest additions to the Singapore Zoo are the Australian Outback and Palm Park. Opened in March 2006, the Australian Outback is located next to the pristine waters of the Seletar Reservoir. There, guests can enjoy the rugged beauty of “Down Under” and view a varied collection of Australia’s indigenous animals, such as the grey kangaroos, wallabies, emu and the world’s deadliest snake – the taipan.

The Palm Park is a wonderful get away from mundane city dining. Overlooking the serenity and tranquillity of Seletar Reservoir, this venue caters to small cocktails of 50 or lavish dinners of up to 800.
With effect from November 2006, the Night Safari will provide visitors with a new dining experience at the Ulu Ulu Restaurant. Newly refurbished with a rustic and Kampong village theme, this restaurant allows diners to savour food from all over Asian countries.
The various venues at the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari can accommodate a capacity size ranging from 50 to 600. For enquiries please email sales@zoo.com.sg.
