Melbourne residents don’t just live for the moment they squeeze the daylights out of it whenever and wherever possible. The historic city is undoubtedly the events capital of Australia, and so much more.

Arts savvy, sports crazy, food-loving Melbourne is one of the most liveable cities in the world and has been voted just that in recent times. Culturally enlightened its people are mad for shopping, the arts and food and wine.

With a year-round calendar of festivals and major events Melbourne knows how to party, whatever your poison. If you want to provide your incentive travel reward delegates with a little bit of culture, or take them to a sporting event recognised on the world stage, then Melbourne is certainly the Australian city you should consider. The Qantas Australian Grand Prix is held in Melbourne each year, as is the Ford Australia Open Tennis Championship, the Foster’s Melbourne Cup, and the Australian Masters Golf.

And if you’re after a slice of Aussie culture as well, then why not take your delegates to a game of Australian Rules Football.

Comedy, arts, festivals, year-round broadway-style shows – Melbourne’s got the lot when it comes to incentives with a cultural twist.

Fresh from hosting the Commonwealth Games and with a brand-new 5000-seat convention centre under construction, Melbourne is laying out the welcome mat and inviting the world.

ITINERARY IDEAS
DAY 1

Upon arrival at Melbourne Airport you will be transferred to Werribee Mansion, the largest private residence in Victoria in the 1870’s. Experience the excitement of the Spring Racing Carnival over lunch where the scene will be set for a spine-tingling afternoon of horse racing. After lunch rejuvenate in The Day Spa. Tonight dine at Shadowfax Winery.

DAY 2
Jump on board Big Stick Adventures’ “Air-Sea-Land Expedition”. We start the day with a coastal drive to Apollo Bay, with a stop en-route for morning tea. Upon arrival at Apollo Bay your guides offer the option of getting up close and personal with wild seals on a kayaking tour or take a ride in an 8WD amphibious buggy to explore the Australian bush. Enjoy lunch at Chris’s Restaurant. Board your helicopter for a different view of the Great Ocean Road followed by dinner.

DAY 3
Breakfast will be served in a local art gallery. Return to Melbourne via the famous Bells Beach.
